I am planning to make this today. I have a doubt. The soaked dal is not being cooked or ground... will this turn out well?

Tarla Dalal    Hi Meera, No need to cook the dal it will cook when the paratha gets cooked, yet if you wish you can par boiled them....

I doubt that because of the use of mashed potatoes in this ,it will not remain good in long journey s

Tarla Dalal    Hi Ritu : You are partially right. These parathas will be good for 24 hours if you are mostly in a a/c train or plane and then arrive and put it in a fridge. Then they work otherwise there will be an issue. Thanks.

Paratha made from Moong Dal and whole wheat flour and spiced with dhania, green chillies and onion. Tastes great and goes with curd.Healthy!
