Actually i just wanted to know what type of olive oil is used for hummus, pasta n all as there r varieties of olive oil available in the market..so pls help me which is the best olive oil to use n which brand..i was using bertolli classico olive oil till now..can i continue with it ? Is it right oil ?

Tarla Dalal    Hi Tanvi, In the case of Pasta, you can use any kind of pure olive oil for cooking whereas you can finish drizzling it with extra virgin olive oil.For hummus, we suggest you use extra virgin olive oil because it is not cooked and retains all the flavours.

Hummus dip with tahini paste tastes exotic. After using this recipe it turned out really good and all my friends appreciated the dip at my party. Served it with Lavash and bread sticks and chips.

For garnishing, can we use coriander leaver or basil or mint other than parsley?

It turnd out to b amazin n v quick. Rest f d hummus recipes r missin d sesame seeds which I feel is a must so dis recipe is perfectly fine n also a gud combination with soup sticks in case pita bread nt available. Must try
