Just toss all the ingredients into a large bowl and let your little ones do a spot of work! This amazing baby and toddler friendly tikki is a delight to munch on, with potatoes, green peas, crushed peanuts and paneer too.

Ingredients
Main Ingredients
1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
1/4 cup boiled and coarsely crushed green peas
2 tbsp grated paneer (cottage cheese)
2 tbsp grated processed cheese
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp roasted and crushed peanuts
salt to taste
a pinch of freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
oil for greasing and cooking
Method
 
- Combine all ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 20 equal portions, shape each portion into a round and flatten slightly to make coin sized tikkis.
- Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease it lightly using a little oil.
- Place the tikkis on it and cook them using a little oil, till they turn light brown in colour from both the sides.
- Serve warm.
