For Herbed Curd Dip
1 cup thick curds (dahi)
2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
2 tbsp finely chopped coloured capsicum
3 tbsp fresh cream
1 1/2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste

First step to make hung curd | how to make hung curd | chakka dahi | homemade hung curd is to take a deep bowl or patila and place a strainer over it.

Place a clean and dry muslin cloth over the bowl. You can also use a thin cheesecloth for this purpose.

Put 2 cups curd in the strainer. We have used low fat curds but you can use full fat curds if you are healthy. You can buy the curd from a store or you can learn how to make curd with full fat milk. Make sure that the curd is fresh and not sour.

Bring the sides of the muslin cloth together.

Tie a tight knot with the edges of the muslin cloth.

Hang the curd for 15 to 20 minutes or till all the water from the curds gets drained out and the curds turn thick.

This is how the curds look like after 15 to 20 minutes of hanging.

Refrigerate till used.

Add salt to taste. We added 1/4th tsp salt.

Add freshly ground black pepper. We added 1/4th tsp black pepper.

Mix yoghurt capsicum dip well.

Refrigerate parsley capsicum dip for 1 hour.

Top with finely chopped coloured capsicum. Serve herbed curd dip | garlic capsicum and parsley dip | yoghurt capsicum dip | Indian creamy curd dip | chilled.

This dip is sooo easy and quick to make, I serve this with some crispy chips for a party and all enjoy every bite of it
