Ingredients
For Ragi Sheera
4 tbsp ghee
1/2 cup ragi (nachni / red millet) flour
5 tbsp jaggery powder (gur powder)
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
Method
For ragi sheera
- To make ragi sheera, heat the ghee in a broad non-stick pan, add the ragi flour and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the jaggery and mix well, add milk and mix well using a whisk.
- Cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Switch off the flame, add the cardamom powder and mix well.
- Serve ragi sheera immediately.
