Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 18 pieces

Ingredients
6 large bread slices
butter for spreading
strawberry jam for spreading
Method
  1. Cut all the sides of the bread, using a knife.
  2. Spread butter on each slice of bread.
  3. Spread a generous layer of jam over it.
  4. Place one slice of bread on a clean, dry surface and roll it up tightly.
  5. Repeat step 4 to make the remaining pinwheels.
  6. Cut each pinwheel into 3 equal portions.
  7. Serve immediately.

Wow.. this is one of the simplest and quickest pinwheels.. The taste of the butter and the strawberry jam.. is really nice. Kids love to spread the jam and butter.. and then roll.. They often takes this when they go to school for short breaks..

These take less time and are very easy to make. They go well as an afternoon snack along with tea
