Tarla Dalal    Try adding a tsp of methi seeds along with sour buttermilk and hot water. Also keep the batter to ferment in warm place. This will help in fermentation.

Tried the receipe. it came out very well. golden and crispy from out side but not properly cooked from inside, Please advice

Tarla Dalal    Hi, Make sure to put little batter in the pan, do not give too much height.. and keep the flame medium so that it cooks really.. well from inside..

Please let me know whether in the case of the baked handvo the mustards seed sesame seeds asafoetida should be poured on the batter and then baked
