What is Cryptoxanthin?

Cryptoxanthin also called as beta-cryptoxanthin belongs to the carotenoid family and is widely found in red and orange coloured fruits. Like beta-carotene, it acts like an Antioxidant and plays a crucial role in keeping our body free from various ailments.
