jhalmuri is a popular street snack popular in Calcutta made of puffed rice and an assortment of spices, sprouts, vegetables, chanachur and mustard oil. It is prepped up using a special bhaja masala or jhal muri masala.

Kolkata Street Style Jhal Muri is easy- to- make recipe which can be prepared in less than 15 minutes. All you need is some puffed rice, sprouts, raw peanuts, regular veggies and you are good to go. You can even add aloo bhujia to it if you like.
