Put a parfait on your menu to make it a perfect one! Parfaits are delicious desserts served in glasses. They are easy to make, pretty to see, and of course, irresistibly tasty. This tangy and tasty Plum Parfait features plums cooked with sugar and cinnamon, chilled and served with a topping of vanilla ice-cream.
The tangy notes of plums, the spicy magic of cinnamon and the sweet lusciousness of vanilla ice-cream altogether create a heavenly experience, which will stay in your memory for a long time.
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan along with ¾ cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 6 to 8 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Cool completely and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Just before serving, pour the plum mixture into 8 individual small glasses topped it with one scoop of vanilla ice-cream in each glass.
- Serve immediately.
