Method

For the doodhi theplas
 

  1. To make the doodhi thepla recipe, combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl along with ¼ cup water.

  2. Knead it well to make a soft dough. Divide the dough into 15 equal portions.

  3. Roll out each portion thinly into a 150 mm. (6 inch) diameter circle using a little wheat flour for rolling.

  4. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook each thepla using ¼ tsp oil till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.

  5. Serve the doodhi thepla recipe hot.
