For aloo gobi ka pulao
 

  1. To make aloo gobi ka pulao, heat the ghee in a pressure cooker, add the cinnamon, cloves and bayleaves and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  2. Add the rice and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Add the, cauliflower, potatoes, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  4. Add 3½ cups of hot water, mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  5. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
  6. Serve hot aloo gobi ka pulao garnished with papad.
