Ingredients
Main Ingredients
2 cups zucchini strips
oil for deep-frying
chaat masala for sprinkling
For The Batter
1 cup self rising flour
2 tbsp cornflour
salt to taste
1 1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp red chilli sauce
2 tsp tomato ketchup
To Be Mixed Together Into A Spicy Mayo Dip
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp schezwan sauce
Method
- Combine all the ingredients along with 1¼ cups of water in a deep bowl and mix well using a whisk to make a thick batter.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai, dip the zucchini strips, a few at a time, in the prepared batter and deep-fry in hot oil till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Sprinkle a little chaat masala on top and serve immediately with spicy mayo dip.
