Ingredients
Main Ingredients
1 cup coarsely crushed sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/2 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
1/4 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
oil for deep-frying
1 tsp chaat masala for sprinkling
For Serving
Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan. Take a portion of the mixture, shape into a round and deep-fry a few at time till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Sprinkle chaat masala evenly over the vadas.
- Serve immediately with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
