Ingredients
For Biryani Maggi
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
1/4 cup chopped capsicum
3/4 cup chopped boiled mixed vegetables
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 1/2 tsp biryani masala
2 1/2 packets maggi noodles
2 packets maggi tastemaker
salt to taste
1/2 cup deep fried onions
Method
For biryani maggi
- To make biryani maggi, heat the oil in a deep pan, add garlic and onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the tomatoes, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Add the capsicum, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Add the boiled mixed vegetables, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, biryani masala and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
- Add 2½ cups of hot water, maggi noodles, maggi tastemaker, and mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Add the fried onions and mix well.
- Serve the biryani maggi immediately.
