Ingredients
For Besan Toast Sandwich
6 bread slices
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 1/2 tbsp green chutney
4 1/2 tbsp grated processed cheese
3 tbsp oil for greasing
To Be Mixed Into Besan Mixture
1 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
1 tbsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 1/4 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped tomato
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
1 cup water

Method
For besan toast sandwich
- To make besan toast sandwich, heat 1 tbsp oil in a broad non-stick pan.
- Dip each bread slice in the besan mixture and place 2 bread slices on the pan.
- Cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes on both the sides until golden brown.
- Apply ½ tbsp green chutney on one slice of bread and 1 tbsp tomato ketchup on other cooked besan bread slice.
- Sprinkle 1½ tbsp grated cheese on chutney besan toast and sandwich with other tomato besan toast.
- Remove in a plate and cut diagonally into 4 equal portions.
- Serve the besan toast sandwich immediately with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
