Ingredients
For Manchurian Hot Dog Roll
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
1/2 cup thinly sliced onions
3/4 cup thinly sliced capsicum
2 tbsp schezwan sauce
2 tbsp red chilli sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1/4 cup cornflour slurry
salt to taste
spring onions for garnish
mayonnaise for garnish
Method
For manchurian hot dog roll
To make manchurian hot dog roll, place the hot dog rollson a clean dry surface, and make a rectangular cut in the center using a sharp knife.
Remove the excess bread and make a depression. Keep aside.
Heat oil in a deep pan or wok, add garlic, ginger, green chillies, carrot and cabbage, sauté for a minute.
Add onion and capsicum, cook on high flame for a minute, while stirring occasionally.
Add schezwan chutney, red chili sauce, soya sauce, tomato ketchup and cornflour slurry.
Cook on medium flame for a minute, while stirring continuously.
Add salt and manchurian balls, toss it well along with the veggies and sauce for a minute.
Stuff the manchurian stuffing in the hot dog rolls.
Serve the manchurian hot dog roll hot garnished with mayonnaise and spring onions.
