Ingredients

3 cups iceberg lettuce , torn into pieces
1/2 cup toasted or fried bread croutons
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
1/2 cup chopped spring onions whites and greens

To Be Mixed Together Into A Dressing
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp vinegar
salt to taste

Method

Place the lettuce in ice-cold water for 10 minutes and drain well. This will make them crisp.
Just before serving, combine all the ingredients, add the dressing and toss well.
Serve immediately.
