Ingredients
For Hummus
3/4 cup soaked and boiled kabuli chana (white chick peas)
3 tbsp olive oil
salt to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp fresh curd (dahi)
For The Garnish
1 tbsp olive oil
a little chilli powder
1 tsp finely chopped parsley
For Serving With Hummus
Method
For hummus
- To make hummus, combine the kabuli chana, olive oil, salt, garlic, lemon juice and curds in a mixer and blend to a smooth mixture. Add a little water only if required.
- Spoon the mixture into a serving plate and pour olive oil and sprinkle chilli powder and parsley over it.
- Refrigerate the hummus till use and serve with lavash.
