Ingredients
For Potato Cheese Garlic Tikki
1 1/2 cups boiled and boiled and mashed potatoes
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves (phudina) leaves
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp finely chopped almonds (badam)
salt to taste
oil for deep-frying

Method
For potato cheese garlic tikki
- To make potato cheese garlic tikki, combine all ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 16 equal portions and shape each portion into a flat round tikki.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and deep-fry, a few tikkis at a time, on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve the potato cheese garlic tikki immediately with green chutney.
