Ingredients
For Bean Sprout Soup
1 cup thinly sliced red capsicum
1 cup bean sprouts
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup thinly sliced onions
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
Method
For bean sprout soup
- To make bean sprout soup, capsicum, onion and bean sprouts soup, heat the oil in a wok/ kadhai; add the onions and sauté on a high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the red capsicum and bean sprouts and sauté on a high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add 3 cups of hot water and salt, mix well and cook on a high flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Switch off the flame, add the pepper powder and mix well.
- Serve the bean sprout soup, capsicum, onion and bean sprouts soup immediately garnished with coriander.
