Ingredients
For Walnut Sheera
2 cups coarsely crushed walnuts (akhrot)
4 tbsp melted ghee
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
Method
For walnut sheera
- To make walnut sheera, heat the ghee in a deep non-stick kadhai, add the walnuts, mix well and cook on a slow flame for 5 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Add the milk and sugar, mix well and cook on a slow flame for 5 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Switch off the flame, add the cardamom powder and mix well.
- Serve the walnut sheera warm.
