Ingredients
For Raw Mango Popsicle
2 cups roughly chopped raw mango , peeled
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped mint leaves (phudina)
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
1/4 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/2 tsp black salt (sanchal)
salt to taste
Method
For raw mango popsicle
- To make raw mango popsicles, in a pan, cook chopped raw mangoes, sugar and ½ cup of water on medium flame for 10 minutes.
- Switch off the flame, keep aside to cool completely.
- Transfer the raw mango mixture into the blender and add mint leaves, pepper powder, cumin seeds powder, black salt, salt to taste and 1 1/2 cup water.
- Blend till smooth. Pour the mixture into 12 ice cream moulds.
- Insert the ice cream stick and freeze for 8 hours or overnight.
- To unmould, allow the moulds to remain outside the freezer for 5 minutes and then unmould by pulling it out.
- Serve raw mango popsicles immediately.
