Ingredients
For Low Fat Paneer
2 ltrs low fat milk
2 tbsp vinegar
Method
For low fat paneer
- To make low fat paneer, put the milk to boil in a deep pan, while stirring occasionally.
- Once boiled, add the vinegar gradually, while stirring it gently.
- Cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Once the milk has curdled, strain using a muslin cloth.
- Wash the paneer thoroughly. This is crumbled paneer.
- To make solid paneer, place the paneer into the muslin cloth on a clean surface.
- Put heavy weight on the paneer and keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Remove the low fat paneer from the muslin cloth and after 30 minutes, cut into even sized cubes or grate it and use as required.
Handy tip:
- To store low fat paneer, place it in enough water in an air-tight container and keep refrigerated and use as require.
