Method

For low fat paneer
 

  1. To make low fat paneer, put the milk to boil in a deep pan, while stirring occasionally.
  2. Once boiled, add the vinegar gradually, while stirring it gently.
  3. Cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  4. Once the milk has curdled, strain using a muslin cloth.
  5. Wash the paneer thoroughly. This is crumbled paneer.
  6. To make solid paneer, place the paneer into the muslin cloth on a clean surface.
  7. Put heavy weight on the paneer and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the low fat paneer from the muslin cloth and after 30 minutes, cut into even sized cubes or grate it and use as required.


Handy tip:
 

  1. To store low fat paneer, place it in enough water in an air-tight container and keep refrigerated and use as require.
