A Rolling Board is a smooth round board made of marble, wood or plastic. It is used to roll rotis, parathas or any such dough. It has a smooth flat surface to ensure even rolling. Sometimes a clean, plain and smooth surface on the kitchen platform can also be used as a rolling board.

How to select
When buying from the market, choose the material as required from options like marble, stone, wood etc. and the size according to your requirement. Just ensure that it has a smooth flat surface devoid of any cracks or holes on the top surface. It should also be well-balanced and not shake when kept on a flat surface.

Rolling boards are used to roll different kind of dough like rotis, parathas, puris etc.
