Ingredients
For Dora Cake
1 cup plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk
1 tsp vinegar
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp butter for greasing
5 tbsp chocolate spread
Method
For dora cake
To make dora cake, in a deep bowl, add milk, vinegar and whisk well.
Add melted butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract and whisk well.
Add the plain flour, baking powder and baking soda and whisk it gently.
Heat a non-stick pan, grease with little butter and wipe it off with a kitchen roll or a muslin cloth.
Pour a ladle full of pancake batter to make 100 mm. (4”) diameter round pancake.
Cook on slow flame for a minute until the blisters appear on pancake.
Flip the side and cook for another 1 minute. Remove on a serving plate.
Similarly, repeat steps 4 to 7 to make remaining pancakes.
Place a pancake upside down on a clean, dry surface. Apply 1 tbsp of chocolate spread and spread evenly over it.
Cover with another pancake and seal the edges. Serve the dora cake immediately.
