Method

For almond bhakari
 

  1. To make almond bhakari recipe, peel the soaked almonds.
  2. Blend the soaked and peeled almonds in a mixer to a smooth mixture without using any water.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a deep bowl, add the ghee and salt, mix well and knead into a dough without using any water.
  4. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
  5. Place a zip lock bag or a plastic sheet on a clean dry surface.
  6. Place a portion of the dough between the plastic sheets and without using any ghee or flour flatten it into a 100 mm. (4 inch) circle by patting with your fingers.
  7. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle), carefully remove the flattened almond bhakri from the plastic sheet and place it on the hot tava.
  8. Cook the bhakri without using ghee till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  9. Repeat steps 6 to 8 to make 5 more bhakris.
  10. Serve almond bhakri hot.
