dough for pyaz aur pudine ki roti

    1. In a bowl put 2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta). Roti made with whole wheat flour tends to have a slightly chewier texture compared to those made with refined flour.
    2. Add 1/2 cup finely chopped onions. Finely chopped onions add a subtle savory and slightly sweet flavor to the roti dough. Finely chopped onions add a subtle savory and slightly sweet flavor to the roti dough.
    3. Add 3 tbsp mint (phudina) paste. Mint paste imparts a refreshing and slightly sweet minty flavor to the roti dough. The chilies in the mint paste add a touch of warmth that complements the other flavors without overpowering them.
    4. Add 1 tbsp oil. Oil can contribute to a slightly softer and richer texture in the final roti compared to one made with no oil. This can be desirable for some people, creating a more melt-in-your-mouth kind of flatbread.
    5. Add salt to taste. We added xx tsp salt.

Onion and phudine (mint leaves) combine to make a nice healthy roti cooked with whole wheat flour. Simple and quick to make and goes well with some curd.
