Zamali Macaroni Chaat recipe - How to make Zamali Macaroni Chaat

1 tsp butter
1 1/2 tsp sesame seeds (til)
1/4 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
2 tsp chaat masala
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp lemon juice
5 mushrooms (khumbh) , washed and sliced
1/2 cup green peas , parboiled
200 gms macaroni of desired shape , boiled , drained and greased with butter
  1. Heat ½ tsp of butter in a pan and roast the sesame seeds till light brown. Remove and keep aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the garlic paste, cumin seeds powder, chat masaala, salt, pepper and lemon juice well.
  3. Add mushroom, green peas and cooked macaroni. Stir well so that they are evenly coated with the dressing.
  4. Refrigerate for one hour at least.
  5. Garnish with fried seasame seeds and serve chilled.
