Vegetable Seekh Kabab recipe - How to make Vegetable Seekh Kabab

250 gms potatoes, boiled
250 gms yam (suran), boiled
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
6 to 7 bread slices (soaked in Water and squeeze it)
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
1 tsp chilli powder
hanful of chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
2 to 3 green chillies, finely chopped
a pinch of red colour
oil for frying
one Seekh.


  1. Mash potatoes and yani(suran).
  2. Mix all the ingredients.
  3. Mix it well.
  4. Take a little mixture on your palm and apply a little oil
  5. On the seekh and press it the mixture on it.
  6. Take out the oblongated kabab and deep fry in hot oil on high fire.
  7. Serve hot.
