1/2 cup waterchestnut (shingoda) flour
1/2 cup rajgira flour
1/2 tsp salt
ghee for brushing

1 cup peeled and chopped panifal
1/4 cup green peas
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp ghee
salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper (kalimirch) powder

  1. Make a soft dough mixing both the flours, and salt. cover and keep aside.
  2. Heat little ghee in a kadhai. add jeera.
  3. Add panifal, peas, salt and pepper powder. mix well.
  4. Cover and let it simmer in slow flame until half cooked.
  5. Cool the mixture.
  6. Make balls of the dough and roll the balls into 1/8" thin roti.
  7. Put little fillings in the middle. apply little water at all sides and fold it half.
  8. Twist the sides. brush ghee all over. arrange in greased baking sheet.
  9. Preheat the oven and bake the patties at 350 degree f for 15 mins.
  10. Serve with chutney or kadhi.
