Here is yet another different, nutritious and healthy version of sandwich with the combination of lots of vegetables

Veg Garden Sandwich recipe - How to make Veg Garden Sandwich

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 sandwiches

8 bread slices
3 to 4 tsp butter
2 cheese slices
4 to 5 tomatoes , cut into slices
2 cucumber , cut into slices

For The Salad
1 1/2 cups lettuce , ttorn_spell! into small pieces
1 1/2 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) paste
1/4 tsp pepper powder
salt to taste

For The Dressing
1/2 cup chopped onions
3 to 4 green chilies , chopped
3 to 4 olives
3 to 4 tsp mayonnaise
3 tsp tomato ketchup
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
a pinch of salt

For Sprinkling
1 tsp black peppercorns (kalimirch) powder
salt to taste

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and keep aside

  1. Combine all the ingredients, toss well and keep aside

How to proceed

  1. Cut the edges of bread slices.
  2. Apply little butter on each bread slice.
  3. Put bread slice on clean dry surface facing butter side up.
  4. Put 1 tbsp dressing on it, put little lettuce leaves salad.
  5. Put 3-4 tomato slices and 4-5 cucumber slices.
  6. Sprinkle black pepper powder and a pinch of salt.
  7. Put ½ cheese slice and cover with another bread slice facing butter side downwards.
  8. Apply little butter on top.
  9. Heat non stick tava, grease with little butter.
  10. Put prepared sandwich and toast lightly from both the sides.
  11. Similarly prepare other sandwiches.
  12. Cut and serve.
