Tukda is a traditional snack recipe prepared from a maida based dough. The tukdi is crispy , fluffy and quite simple fried snack recipe which can be stored in air tight containers and enjoyed for weeks.

Ingredients

2 cups plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup ghee
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
a pinch of baking soda
oil to fry
Method


  1. Combine all the ingredients except oil to form soft dough.
  2. Prepare dough as u prepare for chappathis and roll it into square chappatis.
  3. Cut the chappati into small diamond chips and fry it in oil, till they puff up and become crisp.
  4. Store it in air-tight jar.
