Tomatoes Stuffed with Beans recipe - How to make Tomatoes Stuffed with Beans

1cup small white beans
large onion, chopped
1 tbsp butter
white pepper powder
6 to 8 stuffing tomatoes, tops removed
olive oil
2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
worcesterchire sauce
3/4 cup grated smoked cheese

  1. Soak beans overnight.
  2. Cook until tender.
  3. Drain.
  4. Saute onion in butter until cooked but not browned.
  5. Combine with drained beans, salt and white pepper.
  6. Lightly rub outside of stuffing tomatoes with olive oil.
  7. Place in a baking pan in a single layer.
  8. In each tomato put a thin layer of beans.
  9. Cover with a layer of chopped tomatoes.
  10. Brush with worcestershire sauce.
  11. Sprinkle cheese over tomato.
  12. Repeat layers until all stuffers are filled.
  13. Cover pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
  14. Remove cover and bake another 5 minutes.
