Toffee Salad recipe - How to make Toffee Salad

2 apple , cut into 2 inches
2 mangoes , cut into 2 inches
20 to 25 grapes
4-5 slices pineapple , cut into 2 inches
4-5 wedges papaya , cut into 2 inches
2 bananas , cut into 2 inches
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup sugar
5 tbsp honey
5 tbsp cornflour
  1. Combine all the fruits together in a mixing bowl and roll in cornflour.
  2. Heat two and half tbsp butter in a pan, add the fruits and fry till light brown in colour.
  3. Remove on a serving plate.
  4. Heat the remaining butter and sugar in a pan on medium heat and cook without stirring till the sugar melts and starts to change colour.
  5. Stir till the sugar caramelizes.
  6. Reduce heat and pour honey.
  7. Mix well and pour hot caramel over the fruits and serve either plain/with thick custard or vanilla ice-cream.
