For The Stuffing
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1 cup boiled mixed vegetables (carrots , potatoes ,
green peas , cabbage and corn)
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
1 tsp besan (bengal gram flour)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)

Other Ingredients
4 leftover chapatis
oil for cooking

tomato sauce

    For the stuffing
  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes on medium flame.
  3. Add the boiled vegetables, garam masala and salt, mix and fry for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the besan and saute till the raw smell is gone.
  5. Add the coriander and mix well.
  6. Remove from the flame and divide the stuffing into 4 equal portions and keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Heat the tava on a medium flame, add little oil and put one chapati on it.
  2. Spread 1 portion of the stuffing in the centre of the chapati, fold the two sides and turn the chapati.
  3. Add little oil and cook till brown spots appears.
  4. Repeat with the rest of the chapatis and the stuffings to make 3 more frankies.
  5. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
