Soya Bean Falafel

Soyabean falafel is a healthy and refreshing version of our normal falafels....considered them as healthy starters..
Method- Wash and soak Soya bean overnight. Drain and dry on a kitchen towel. Clean, wash and chop coriander leaves and parsley. Wash and chop spring onion greens. Peel, wash and chop garlic.
- Combine the Soya bean along with coriander leaves, parsley, spring onion greens, and garlic, crumbed bread slices and blend together in a mixer till grainy texture.
- Add a small pinch of soda bicarbonate, cumin powder and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
- Knead the mixture well and allow it to rest for a couple of hours. Take a portion of this mixture, flatten it slightly with fingers and place it on a greased tray. Brush with little oil. Bake till golden brown. Serve hot.
