  1. Add the fenugreek leaves and salt to the rice and mix well Keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a kadhai and add the mustard seeds.
  3. When the seeds crackle, add the chana dal and urad dal and saute till the dal turns golden brown.
  4. Add the green chillis and garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add the rice mixture and saute for more 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
