For The Cheese Balls
2 cups grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1 tsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
salt to taste

For The 1st Coating
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
salt to taste
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)

For The 2nd Coating
1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds (til) , crushed
1 tsp olive oil

Other Ingredients
250 ml oil for frying

Making the cheese balls

  1. Mix paneer and cheese in a tray.
  2. Mash them both well with your palms, till it forms smooth and soft dough. Add cornflour and knead lightly.
  3. Now add parsley, black pepper powder and salt to taste.
  4. Now make 8 – 10 balls of this dough and keep aside.

  1. Take maida in a separate bowl and add warm water to make a smooth paste. Add salt and pepper powder to taste. T
  2. his paste should be thick enough to coat the cheese balls.

  1. Dry roast sesame seeds in a skillet and spread on a plate. Crush them a little.
  2. Now dip the cheese balls in maida paste and then roll them over the sesame seeds till they are fully coated with sesame seeds.
  3. Deep fry the balls in medium hot oil, taking care not to break them.
  4. Golden brown sesame cheese balls are ready to be served hot.
