Saffron Masti recipe - How to make Saffron Masti

500 ml milk
1/2 cup hung curds (chakka dahi) (dahi)
1/2 cup dessicated coconut
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp saffron (kesar) strands
1 tsp ghee
1 tbsp grated almonds (badam)
  1. Boil the milk in a deep pan and add the curds and mix till the milk curdles.
  2. Add the desiccated coconut and sugar, mix well and cook the mixture becomes dry.
  3. Add the saffron and mix well and cook till the mixture becomes solid.
  4. Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool.
  5. Grease your hands with ghee and make balls from the mixture.
  6. Garnish with almonds and serve chilled.
