1. the dough should be of the chapathis consistency.

2. diamond shapes can be made like this.
first cut the chappathis vertically into 1/2 inch strip and then keep the strip horizontally and cut them into small pieces. this will look like a diamond shape.

1 cups of jaggery can be varied as 1 cup jaggery and ½ cup sugar
jaggery should be unsalted variety.
poha can be soaked in milk also. this gives a nice taste to poha
add 1 teaspoon of ghee at the end for flavour
