Wouldn’t life be so, so, so boring without jar snacks? Imagine having your evening cup of coffee or tea every day without any accompaniments! Crunchy-munchy jar snacks add lot of excitement to our day. They can always be relied upon to perk up your tea-time even on days when you do not have time to prepare any fresh snacks. Jar snacks also come to the rescue when hunger suddenly strikes without warning between meals or as soon as you come back from work in the evening. Many of the jar snacks can also be packed in your kid’s tiffin dabba for short break. You can also carry some in your handbag to work!
Jar snacks can be sweet like Shakarpara and Caramel Popcorn, or appetizingly spicy like the Corn Flakes Chivda or Aloo Bhujia. Many of them are also regional specialties like the Ribbon Sev of South India or the Mini Bhakarwadi from Maharashtra. For health-conscious people, there are also options like the Baked Oats Puri or Bajra Vadi, which help you top up on your nutrients while also enjoying a tasty, crispy snack! Snacks from the West like Potato Wafers are also very popular in India, amongst young and old.
