Pressure Cooker recipes
The Pressure Cooker is like a magic wand. The Indian housewife often feels crippled without a pressure cooker. Often, we families relocating to other countries including the pressure cooker as the highest priority item on their packing list! This magic utensil is a steel pan, covered in an airtight way with a lid having a rubber gasket. On top of the lid, there is an opening that is sealed with a special stopper (commonly called as ‘weight’ or ‘whistle’) that retains steam inside the vessel for a while, allowing it to release slowly in a controlled and safe fashion. In short, it helps you to steam cook food in a quick and convenient way, using less fuel.
