Ekadashi Recipes, Ekadasi Vrat recipes, Ekadashi fasting recipes. Ekadashi vrat is considered to be one of the most ideal fasts. Occurring twice a month, Ekadashi is considered to be a very auspicious day and fasting on that day is believed to absolve one of sins and helps them to gain some brownie points with God!

The fast is observed all over India by many communities but specifically in Maharashtra. Young and old, and even Indians living elsewhere in the world fast on Ekadashi day. Some elders say it is the ideal fast for 8 to 80 (that is, young and old).
