  1. To make raab for cold and new mothers, heat the ghee in a deep non-stick pan, add the wheat flour and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 1½ minutes or till the flour turns light brown in colour.
  2. Add 1¼ cups of water and jaggery, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes, while stirring continuously with a whisk.
  3. Add the carom seeds and ginger powder, mix well and cook on a medium flame for ½ minute, while stirring continuously with a whisk.
  4. Serve the raabimmediately.

Well the recipe is good but gum( edible) is missing and 1 cup jaggery for 1cup raab is too much and 1 TSP ghee for 1 1/2 tbsp flour is too less Please check

Tarla Dalal    Thank you for sharing your feedback. The ghee is correct. The jaggery is 1 tbsp and the changes have been made. We have not used edible gum in this recipe.
