Power Salad

I call it a power salad because it is a very tasty and filling salad. It can be had for dinner and you can avoid the dinner and wake up a few pounds lighter. It is not like the other regular salads which are a pain to eat to lose wait. This is nutritious, healthy and of course tasty. You can add or reduce any ingredient as per your taste or their availability. Avoid potato if you want.

Power Salad recipe - How to make Power Salad

4 to 6 cos lettuce or lettuce
1 large sized tomato
1 cucumber , roughly chopped
1/2 red cabbage
1 slab of tofu (bean curd/ paneer (cottage cheese)I1374 I985) or
1/2 red radish
1 onion or (whichever you want)
15 to 20 grapes
1 sliced pickled dill (optional)
1 green or red or yellow capsicum
2 tsp sweet bananas peppers (optional)
1 beetroot
1 carrot
1/2 boiled potato
1 cup boiled hara chana (dried green peas)
1 cup sprouted moong (whole green gram)
2 tbsp ranch dressing or or any dressing of your choice
1 lemon
salt to taste
black peppercorns (kalimirch) (kalimirch)
  1. Wash and cut all vegetables.
  2. Cut tofu or paneer in squares.
  3. Wash the grapes.
  4. Grate the carrot,keep half aside.
  5. Now mix the vegetables including half the grated carrot,pickle,boiled green chanas,sprouted moong and sweet peppers together.
  6. Now pour the dressing,the juice of the lime,salt and pepper and mix well.
  7. On top put the grapes and rest of the carrot.
