Method


  1. Cook the dhal adding enough water and haldi to a soft consistency in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add boiled potato green chillies salt and tamarind paste or juice.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai add mustard, methi urad dhal hing and finally broken dry red chillie
  4. Add this to boiling dhal and cook for few miniutes till you get a nice aroma
