Pitla Vadi recipe - How to make Pitla Vadi

  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai and add the mustard seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the turmeric powder, asafoetida, water, chilli powder,coriander powder and salt and mix well.
  3. When water start boiling add besan with little water to avoid lumps or balls, while stirring immediately.
  4. Keep stirring for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Take one greased thali and transfer cooked besan in it.
  6. Then flatten with your fingers.
  7. Cut into square shape or any shape of your choice.
  8. Garnish with coriander and coconut.
  9. Serve hot.
