Paneer In Hot Sauce recipe - How to make Paneer In Hot Sauce

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     4Makes 4 servings

1 cup paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic (lehsun) , chopped
2 tsp chilli sauce
2 tsp schezuan sauce
3 tsp honey
salt to taste
1 tbsp chopped spring onion greens
1 tbsp chopped onions
2 tsp chopped celery
1 tbsp cornflour dissolved in 2 tbsp water
1/2 tsp white pepper powder
1/2 cup boiled macaroni
2 tsp vinegar
1 tbsp red capsicum , diced
1 tbsp sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane) , boiled

For The Garnish
grated cheese
fried peanuts
beetroot crisps , refer handy tip
  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions, spring onions and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add the garlic, salt, celery, soya sauce, chilli sauce and schezuan sauce, mix well and cook till light brown.
  3. Add the capsicum, corn, paneer, pepper and mix well.
  4. Add the vinegar, honey, macaroni, cornflour paste and mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Garnish with cheese, peanuts and beet crisps.
  6. Serve hot.

    Handy tip
  1. for the beet crisps, mix 1 cup whole wheat flour, salt, to taste, beet juice, as required in a bowl and mix well to knead into a soft dough. Roll it and cut into desired shapes. Prick it. Deep fry in oil.
