Palak and paneer tikka is a tikka recipe with paneer cubes and chopped spinach grilled together to a tasty and flavourful finish. Enjoy as starter or snack with beverage of choice.

Palak and Paneer Tikka recipe - How to make Palak and Paneer Tikka

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 8 servings

2 cups finely chopped spinach (palak)
250 gms crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
1 cup chopped mixed vegetables
2 green chillies , chopped
2 slices of bread , soaked and mashed
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
oil to deep frying
  1. Combine the paneer, spinach, vegetables and mix well.
  2. Add the green chillies and bread, mix well and add the salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into small round flat tikkis.
  4. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the tikkis till they turn golden and crisp from all the sides.
  5. Serve hot.
